It is with great enthusiasm that we announce that the Association of Citizens of Yerma has started fundraising for the second edition of the Jerma Arts Festival . A multidisciplinary, non-profit and self-sustaining cultural event that will take place from August 8 to 10 in the village of Vlasi, in the heart of the Jerma Special Nature Reserve. The campaign is open on the Donacije.rs platform under the name "Art against Depopulation" and is waiting for your support!

Why is your support important?
The first edition took place from 2 to 4 August 2024 in the village of Vlasi and showed that even a small festival can have a big impact - it brought together over 250 participants from Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Slovenia and the UK. Through music, documentaries, workshops and a camp by the river, we connected art, ecology and the local community.
All this with the intention of making the event an annual event and each subsequent edition more inclusive and sustainable, in order to further revitalize cultural life in this part of Serbia, support ecotourism, and try to influence the reduction of depopulation.
Campaign goal
The campaign aims to raise funds that will be used for:
Upgrading the program: adding new formats – such as performance, visual arts, and artist residencies.
Preserving local identity : engaging local artists, farmers, households and artisans.
How can you help?
1. Donation - via Donacije.rs: even symbolic amounts contribute to a great cause and open up space for larger donors and partnerships.
2. Spread the word - share the campaign on social networks, send it to friends, colleagues and culture and nature lovers.
3. Volunteering and partnership – join the team on site; we are open to local companies, institutions and friends of the festival.
